Sub-clause 12.4 of the LDO Award provides that where the employer has given notice of termination in circumstances of redundancy, the employee must be allowed up to one day’s time off without loss of pay for the purpose of seeking other employment.  If the employee has been allowed more than 1 day off as paid leave for job searching, the employee must, upon request, produce proof of attendance at an interview for the extra paid leave.
